What Brings me Here

Some years ago, I had a cute little blog about all the hilarious things my daughter did and said. I had to put it down when we started down the road to discover that Abby was more than just extraordinary; she was different. I want to pick it back up and talk about our journey - how hard, defeating and scary all of this has been but also incorporate all the wonderfully funny things we know and love about her. I’d also like to talk about the tireless tenacity with which her father and I have worked to get her better, how far we’ve come and how far we still have to go. I want it to act as a support to all those parents dealing with similar situations and who are desperate to hear, "it's going to be ok."

I'd like this to become a space where parents, with or without children that are or are not like Abby, can come to laugh, relate and reveal their own stories. Thanks for tuning in.
