Flashback Friday: Missing Person

As we're leaving..

Abby: Mom can you help me find my person?

Me: You have a person?

Abby: Yes, to carry all my stuff.

Me: That sounds an awful lot like a man.

Abby: No, it's my person. It carries my phone and my money and my car.

Me: Hmm, still sounds like a man, less the car part.

Abby: No! It goes on my shoulder like this (she demonstrates something she thinks helps to identify said missing person).

Me: Sweetie, I think you mean PURSE. It's right here.

Abby: 'Ank you. Will you carry it for me?

Me: No. I'm not your person.
